On July 12, participants of the fifth development-oriented workshop for parliamentarians from developing countries, organized by the National People's Congress and the Inter-Parliamentary Union, visited Jiangsu as part of their visit to China.?

The members of this workshop come from nine countries, including Cambodia, Guyana, Honduras, Kiribati, Laos, Maldives, South Africa, Suriname, and Thailand. On May 22 of this year, the exhibition commemorating the tenth anniversary of the "Belt and Road" initiative opened officially in the Sihanoukville Special Economy Zone in Cambodia. Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, Wang Wentian, provincial and municipal government leaders, guests, and nearly 30,000 employees in the area also participated.
